Details

An American mathematical model in the form of a wooden cone whose segments are joined by a base leather strap. This form were invented by Albert Kennedy (1848-1940). He became superintendent of the Rockport, Indiana school district in 1878, and created these as instructional tools for teachers to aid in demonstration mathematical principles. He filed for the patient for this form on June 22, 1881.
