AN American life-sized metal spinal demonstration model for use by chiropractors to explain disc, back and spine conditions to patients. Invented by George Thurman Fleet (1895-1983). Displaying the back from the back of the head to the hip bones the demonstrator with movable vertebrae each on a brass piston projecting from a square tube. On a wooden base, with attached metal plaque reading “Fleet’s Spinal demonstrator. Model No. 9, Manufactured by Thurman Fleet 331 Rosemary Avenue San Antonio Texas. Patent No. 2197975”. This patent was filed for on March 21st, 1938.
